| Playtonic Games has released a new trailer for Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair showcasing the upcoming 2.5D platformers transforming stages. The sequel to 2017’s Yooka-Laylee, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lairs tasks players with rescuing members of Queen Phoebee’s Royal Beettalion from the nefarious Capital B, who has imprisoned the soldiers in a sprawling industrial nightmare known as the Impossible Lair. Players will explore a charming 3D overworld to uncover 20 different 2.5D levels, each with a member of the Royal Beettalion to rescue. However, as the colourful duo traverse the overworld, Yooka and Laylee will discover new secrets and puzzles which can dynamically transform each of the game’s 2.5D stages, and with it how they traverse through the stage. Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in Q4 2019 (So September to December).
