Yacht Club Games has revealed Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon will launch on PC, PlayStation, and Switch later this year.
Billed as a ‘puzzle adventure mash-up’, this Shovel Knight spin-off was first announced for Switch way back in February 2020.
The game was supposed to arrive last year, but – like most of the games that were supposed to come out last year, got pushed back.
Today, during Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase Yacht club confirmed the game now has a new launch window of Winter 2021.
In Pocket Dungeon players will ‘delve into the depths’ using one of ten unique Heroes from the Shovel Knight universe, each with their own powers and play style in an ‘action-packed puzzle adventure mashup like no other.’
‘Join your mysterious guide Puzzle Knight as you shovel through scads of foes, procure new equipment, and battle bosses both familiar and new. Explore a tale with endless twists and turns, quest as your favourite heroes, and even challenge a friend for fast-paced head-to-head competition in Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon!’
Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is coming to PC, PlayStation, and Switch this winter.
