At WASDuk Towers we have received a rather curious black poster tube from Polish devs Techland.
On prying the container open we found a Dying Light 2 branded UV torch, a polite note telling us to keep shtumm over the weekend, and an A3 poster.
On further inspection, and horror after shining the torch at my sofa, it was revealed that Techland wants us all to tune into their Twitch channel on May 27 at 9pm CET (that’s 7pm for us stuck lot stuck in Brexitville) if you are #dying2know.
Let the hype commence. But, you know, don’t be a dick about it.
See our full crappy unboxing below.
Originally revealed in 2018, a move Techland have since said may have been premature, the sequel to 2015’s Dying Light is set to return players back to the streets of Harran, a full decade and a half after the events of the original.
Techland is promising big things including a larger map, more RPG elements, and even more Zombies.
Dying Light 2 is set for release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. It has no firm release date at this time.
