Loop Hero confirmed for Winter release on Switch

Four Quarters’Loop Hero is headed to the Nintendo Switch this winter.

Announced during Nintendo’s latest Indie World Showcase on Wednesday, Loop Hero was originally released on PC and Mac on 4th March.

Published by Devolver Digital, Loop Hero sees players navigate a fantasy world that is caught in an endless time loop.

A unique take on the RPG formula, Loop Hero is just as much management sim as it is fantasy adventure. Players don’t control the hero, but instead use a deck of cards to build looping dungeons for the hero to traverse, placing enemies and changing the dungeons terrain by using the cards in their hand. When the Hero completes a loop the players deck is expanded unlocking new character classes, monsters, and terrain for the hero to battle. The longer they survive, the more loot they get to take home to upgrade themselves and their village.

An exact release date wasn’t announced for the time-bending RPG Nintendo Switch, but expect it to arrive when it gets a little colder by the end of the year, in other words…
