In a press release for the just announced Middle Earth; Shadow of War Warner Bros confirmed that the sequel to 2014s Hobbit Sequel Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be coming to Microsoft’s upcoming mega-console – Project Scorpio.
Stating that the game will coming to “Xbox One, Project Scorpio, Windows 10 PC (Windows Store and Steam), PlayStation4 and PlayStation Pro beginning 25 August, 2017.” It is uncertain whether this means the Scorpio will be out by 25th August, or that it will be ported to the new hardware once it is released. Looking at the wording we would speculate the latter.
The game whas also been confirmed to be an Xbox Play Anywhere title allowing players to continue their adventure on Windows 10 PC, Xbox One and Project Scorpio.
